What:
«Let’s do it World» is the largest and fastest growing voluntary environmental awareness campaign on a global scale, with a participation from 108 countries and 8.000.000 volunteers. Every year, thousands of citizens from every corner of the earth, clean up their countries, trying to pass the message of improvement and protection of their natural and urban environment.
This year will be the fourth time that we play host to the specific campaign after it was «adopted» by Greece with the initiative of the Attica Environmental Association, «Time for Action» and the Greek Solid Waste Management Company. The goal is, within a day, to co-ordinate on a pan-Hellenic level and do voluntary activities such as cleaning, landscaping and an overall aesthetic upgrade of every corner of the country.
For this particular action, local teams will help bring life back to the mountainside of Ymittos by participating in various games aiming at cleaning up the mountainside, landscaping and creating a recycling park, all whilst having fun and learning about the wonders of the mountain!
