Few words about the role: Project manager ensures the project is completed on time and
within budget, that the project’s objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job
properly. Moreover oversees the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most
efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied. More specifically
you have to:

1. Select team members and assure that all team members understand their roles and
accept their responsibilities.

2. Organize, coordinate and work closely with the teams of Sponsorships, Delegates’
Experience, Communication/Marketing, Volunteer Actions, Speakers’ Services and
Production.

3. Prepare project plan by taking into account short-term and long-term objectives of the
event. Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities.

4. Track the progress of the team members in order to ensure that everything is going
according to the original plan.

5. Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to the team.

6. Keep all parties involved (directors, managers and GloVo core team) in the project
informed of progress and issues.
