Having participated in various events we had the chance to meet people with disabilities and realize many of the stereotypes and challenges they face in their everyday life. It didn’t take too long to understand that these people apart from their disabilities they also had many capabilities, which were often even more developed than the usual.
Our aim is to offer to people with disabilities the equal opportunity and the same right to participate in volunteering! We do believe, that «strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from indomitable will.» as Gandhi said.
To serve the purpose above a project was created to link GloVo & People with disabilities. The project will be run by a team of 5. A special school teacher, a man with disabilities, the CEO of GloVo already work on the project and we are looking for 2 more volunteers in order to complete the team and start empowering people with disabilities .
